FROM THE OWNERS
We have some deliciously fresh flavors for you this weekend as we embrace spring and all the loveliness it brings. Our patio plants are flourishing, and the festival spirit is in full swing. This Saturday, Festival des Fleurs will take place at Blackham Coliseum from 8 am to 4 pm. It’s a fantastic one-stop venue for plant enthusiasts, offering a variety of plants, gardening tools, accessories, and expert advice from seasoned pros. Trust me, it’s one of the highlights of the spring season! 🌸
In the spirit of spring, David has prepared a fresh and festive special for you this weekend. 🍽️ Y'all, you should have seen how excited he was to take pictures of it and have us all try a bite. Imagine: grilled mahi mahi with just the right amount of char, paired with a refreshing citrus salad. The salad boasts a delightful balance of acidity and a subtle sweetness from the dragon fruit. And to add a touch of indulgence, we’ve drizzled the asparagus with creamy Hollandaise sauce. It’s a symphony of flavors that celebrates the season!
Wine Pairing Recommendations:
🍇 Ant Moore New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: This crisp white wine with zesty citrus notes will complement the mahi mahi and citrus salad beautifully.
🍇 Louis Jadot Chablis: An unoaked Chardonnay, perfect for those who appreciate a touch of creaminess without overpowering the dish.
And if you’re in the mood for some live music, join us tonight at our Blue Room from 6:30 to 9:30 for light jazz by the Avery Cohen Trio. It’s a sneak peek before our official opening next weekend, so grab a glass of wine or a cocktail and enjoy the evening. 🎶
Your table is waiting.... we'll see you soon!
