Founded in 1996, Antoni’s has grown from a neighborhood café into a beloved fixture in Lafayette’s historic Oil Center. Drawing on years of restaurant experience, pizza-making expertise, and a passion for Italian cooking, Bruce and Lynda Cart created a simple, timeless menu centered on scratch-made Italian comfort food.

From the very beginning, Antoni’s has made its own pizza and bread doughs in-house. Mixed daily and allowed to rise overnight, each batch is rolled out fresh every morning. By emphasizing quality ingredients and the care that comes with handmade food, the Carts established a tradition of craftsmanship, hospitality, and consistency that defined Antoni’s until their retirement in 2013.

That year, ownership passed to longtime employee Holly Cure and her husband, Eli Cure. With extensive experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations, they ushered Antoni’s into its next chapter. Remaining true to the original menu while thoughtfully introducing a few additions along the way, Holly and Eli embraced the vision that made Antoni’s special and committed themselves to preserving the legacy the Carts began.  

 

Through hands-on leadership and a dedication to genuine hospitality, Antoni’s has continued to thrive.

From 1996 to today, the mission of Antoni’s remains unchanged: to provide an upscale dining experience in a comfortable atmosphere, serving delicious Italian cuisine with heartfelt service.
