FROM THE OWNERS

With Easter behind us, it’s officially time to lean into spring in all its glory. The patio is in its prime right now, and our Peggy Martin rose has been really showing off this week. We’re even switching things up from our usual Friday fish special with a roasted chicken that is light, bright, and right on time for the season. It’s served over a stewed eggplant caponata that’s genuinely unforgettable, with sweet peppers, tangy balsamic, and aromatic onion and garlic that will have you going back for “just one more bite." Then another, and another.

We’re also rolling out a new dessert of the month, dreamed up by Chef Kanen and sauté cook Taj. It starts with a classic blondie - the lighter-colored version of a brownie - and tops it with a savory foie gras ice cream. Never tried foie gras ice cream? Same. But it turns out to be surprisingly refreshing, slightly savory, and totally delicious, creating the most unique blondie à la mode you’ve ever had.

And because spring is all about fresh starts, we’re working on a summer wine list

revamp. Leading up to that, we’re offering Cakebread Chardonnay (normally $90) for just $50. It’s the perfect excuse to swing by during our new earlier Saturday hours, gather a few friends, and soak up a sunny afternoon on the patio with a glass in hand.

There are plenty of reasons to treat yourself to a little spring reset with us this weekend - great food, great wine, great weather, and a vibe that’s giving “main character energy” in all the right ways. Come see what the season tastes like.

We’ll see you when you get here!
