FROM THE OWNERS
Greetings, friends!
Another weekend is here, and somehow, itās already March 2026 - say it isnāt so!
The year may be sprinting ahead, but the good news is weāre about to gain extra daylight. Thatās extra sunshine for one more drink on the patio, one more bite of dessert, and one more song drifting from the Blu Room as you cool down from the dayās raceāliteral or otherwise. Weāve added fresh color to the patio too, a little āspring

trainingā for the space as we welcome the new season.
This weekendās menu is hitting its stride with bright, fresh flavors. Weāre serving blackened fresh redfish on the halfāshell, cooked with the bottom skin on so you can scoop each bite right down to the finish line. Chef Kanenās Creole butter keeps the pace with Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic, onion, bell pepper, and classic boiling spices. A charred lemon and a crisp salad of shaved fennel and arugula bring the dish homeālight, vibrant, and perfect for a spring weekend. And with a lowācarb entrĆ©e like this, youāll have plenty of room to ācarbāloadā at the end with our baked apple cobbler, the cozy blend of winter warmth and spring energy.

To all the runners gearing up for the Zydeco Marathon this weekend, weāre cheering you on! Weāre honored that the Oil Center is featured prominently along Sunday's course. If youāre racing and joining us for a pre-run dinner, feel free to boost your mileage with some extra energy: our Cacio e Pepe side made with capellini, cracked black pepper, and Pecorino Romano.
Whether youāre running 26.2, cheering from the sidelines, or simply pacing yourself into a relaxing weekend, weāll be here to keep you fueled, refreshed, and ready for whateverās next.
Weāll see you when you get here!
