Antoni's will be open for regular hours Friday, July 3rd, and then we will close for the big semiquincentennial. Say that five times fast... I'll take 18-letter words for $600, Ken!

All week we've been featuring the Blackened Redfish special mentioned above - it's been a hit - and we'll be offering it Thursday and Friday night as well. Before you indulge in your burgers, hot dogs, watermelon and other 4th of July fare, stop in for a refined Italian meal that's simple, delicious and satisfying. Pair it with a glass of Vermentino for an excellent companion to your dinner.

We'll miss the limoncello cheesecake, but we have a new dessert of the month to unveil - Blackberry Tiramisu! If you love the idea of tiramisu but aren't a big fan of the coffee component, consider your wish granted. Lady fingers are soaked in a blackberry syrup (made with fresh blackberries) and layered with a blackberry-flavored mascarpone cream. Like the rest of our desserts, this one is also lovingly crafted in-house. It'll be here all month, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it, once or multiple times!

Speaking of unveiling, we're still pinching ourselves after the debut of our newest addition to the Blu Room, 'Frequencies' by Robert Dafford. As Robert tells us, his inspiration is the spirit of music that binds us all together as we live a spiritual experience in our physical world. With that in mind, he uses vibrant colors and a motif of a cobblestone street alive with music, with an abstract vision of the Louisiana swamp running through the center of the musical scene. It's one more step in the evolution of the Blu Room space, and these balmy summer weekends are the perfect time to sit and enjoy the view there.
