Mother’s Day weekend is here, and we’re rolling out a dish worthy of the women who raised us, fed us, and somehow always knew when we were up to something.

This weekend’s special is a real mother‑of‑a‑meal: Jumbo Lump Crabmeat twirled with Capellini in a Tangy Lemon Crema and topped with Smoked Trout Roe. It’s bright, elegant, and just indulgent enough, exactly like Mom. But a little extra indulgence never hurt anyone, right? Pair it with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot or Franciacorta and celebrate her in style.

And because mama said there’ll be plates like this - the kind you remember - we’re pairing it with a silky Raspberry Lemon Pannacotta that's guaranteed to earn you the status of “favorite child."

The Blu Room will be alive with smooth tunes Friday and Saturday, a fitting soundtrack for celebrating the women who shaped us and kept us (mostly) well‑behaved. And even if the weather acts up, we’ll have warm lamps, soft corners, and plates that hug back.

We’re also giving the Blu Room a little nurturing of its own — a new mural by renowned

local artist Robert Dafford is on the way.
