FROM THE OWNERS
Greetings, friends! With the possibility of a real cool front coming through this weekend, it is finally time to lean into fall and all the comfort foods it brings. What better weekend than this to invest in your culinary wellness? We're serving up a crowd-pleasing special this weekend the likes of which we haven't seen in a while. Indulge in our pecan-crusted fresh redfish in a tomato hollandaise for an epic meal that will leave your spirits well-endowed.
Speaking of endowment, our newest wine-of-the-month has it right in the name! The

'Bodyguard' blend by DAOU (pronounced "dow" like en-dow-ment) is a harmonious half-and-half blend of Petit Syrah and Petit Verdot from Paso Robles, California. You truly must see the label of this wine to appreciate the artistry (pictured at right). The wine itself is a tribute to Marie Daou, the mother of the winery's founders, who bravely protected them in their childhood as they escaped the first bombings of the Lebanese Civil War and relocated to France. The wine's dark, bold fruit and elegant structure reflect her image in their minds as a source of hope, protection and strength. You can enjoy this wine by the glass at a special price of $20, or by the bottle for $84.

While it's not our recommendation for this particular special, it would be perfect for Filet of Beef Tenderloin, Veal Marsala or even Triple Chocolate Cheesecake.
We just revealed a new wine list this week with quite a few fresh selections, and we look forward to tasting you on some of our newest additions. For the redfish special, we suggest trying our newest Chardonnay by the glass, Cuvaison, to cut through the richness of the hollandaise but also the right amount of oak and creaminess to pair with the pecans and potatoes without being a "butter bomb."
There are treasures galore to enjoy this weekend, so make a trip to our neighborhood and treat yourself.
We'll see you when you get here!
