FROM THE OWNERS

Are you ready for a spectacular weekend? I know most of us still have to work our regular jobs during the summer, but there's something about the advent of these hotter, humid days that stirs a little anticipation for fun ahead. Maybe you're counting down the days to a well-deserved vacation, or have a summer resolution to embrace the outdoors, see the season's hottest movies or dive into the most talked-about reads.

On a personal note, Iโ€™ve recently started reading Erik Larsonโ€™s The Demon of Unrest, a new historical non-fiction highlighting the pivotal five months between the election of Abraham Lincoln and the start of the Civil War. If you're a history buff - or looking for a Father's Day gift for the history aficionado in your life - feel free to ask my thoughts on it next time I see you. I'm always game to talk about books, no matter the genre.

Whatever your summer looks like, you can find us as a welcoming spot to pre-game as we complete our first week of June and look toward the next sunny months ahead. Speaking of sunny, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a refreshing beverage on our patio under the shade of one of Lafayette's most majestic crepe myrtles.

And you won't want to miss this weekend's special. The cashew crust adds a delightful crunch to the puppy drum fish, complemented by the tarragon dijon creamโ€™s subtle tang and herbal notes. The accompanying vegetables bring a fresh twist to the pasta. Pair this dish with a sparkling Prosecco, a zesty New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, or a refreshing Chablis.

Weโ€™re also excited to share that weโ€™ve been nominated for Acadianaโ€™s Choice. Itโ€™s an honor to be recognized in such a meaningful way, and weโ€™d love your support to help us reach the top three. Voting started on this week and runs through June 21st, and you can cast your vote each day by clicking the logo to the right.

We're looking forward to a sensational summer at Antoni's, and we hope you'll include us in your plans. See you soon!
