FROM THE OWNERS

Much like last year at this time, we will be big chillin' this weekend, as the kids say - and we mean that literally. It's funny how we will be wearing shorts at Christmas and then our real winter kicks in mid-January. Lucky for us, Chef Kanen has put together a hearty cioppino that will warm you right up. You may even still be thinking about it come Monday.

Cioppino - which translates to "seafood stew" - has origins in 1800's San Francisco, when Italian fishermen would make a hearty stew with their leftover catch using tomatoes, white wine and herbs. This weekend's version features head-on Gulf shrimp, Prince Edward Island Mussels and tender white fish in a zesty broth layered with flavor and practically begging to be dunked with bread. Pair it with a glass of Vermentino and let all that seafood goodness shine though and warm you to the core.

We’re also shaking things up with a few drink specials this weekend. Take advantage of our limited time deals on Cuervo Gold Margaritas and Absolut Citron Lemon Drops for only $6. We also have a delicious and fruity Sangria with red wine, brandy and a variety of fruits including apples, oranges and blueberries.

Whether you’re heading out to Mardi Gras festivities or hunkering down close to home in the gloomy weather, we’ve got a seat waiting for you.

We'll see you when you get here!
