The end of summer is nearing, and for many there is no better indicator of that than the reward of Labor Day. We are also nearing the end of softshell crab season, and my, do we have some beauties waiting for you. This weekend, treat yourself to the deliciousness of fresh softshell crabs, pan fried and served over pasta. We let the crabs shine with a simple sauce of sundried tomatoes, pine nuts, Pecorino Romano and sherry vinegar tossed with linguine noodles.

After all your hard work, this is a well-deserved reward.

Speaking of just desserts, don't forget to indulge in our latest dessert of the month, Amaretto Zabaione. Made with whipped egg, sugar and amaretto liqueur, you'll be glad you saved room for it. No one will judge you for dipping the homemade almond flour cookies in the cream; in fact, we encourage it! An added bonus is that this dessert is also gluten free. We'll be serving it all month if you can't make it for the debut weekend, but make sure to try it next time you're visiting - you won't regret it.

Remember that you can kick off your three-day weekend with our new happy hour offerings from 2-4pm. Available weekdays, we offer 2-for-1 imported and domestic beer, Pinot Grigio and Chianti, plus discounted menu items like Garlic Focaccia with Melted Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza.
